Harrison & Bodell Scouting Scholarship
San Diego employment law attorneys Harry Harrison and Daniel Bodell are pleased to offer scholarships to motivated past and current members of the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts of America to assist them in furthering their education.
Scholarship applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Currently enrolled at an accredited high school, college, or university in the U.S.
- Must be a current or past member in good standing with The Boy Scouts of America or the Girl Scouts
- Must be age 17 or older
THE ESSAY TOPIC:
Please write an original 400-600 word essay on:
“How has your time in the scouts (boyscouts, girlscouts) prepared you for college? Please describe what skills, values, or qualities that you developed from scouting that have prepared you for your future.”
One winner will be awarded $1000.00 to be used toward your tuition, books or other school expenses.
Submissions must be received by December 31, 2014.
